TerraLogic was on the winning team with Colorado State University at Pueblo to identify safety, environmental and operations/maintenance impacts associated with locating solar arrays within highway right of way areas

TerraLogic will be the prime author of the guidance document entitled “Sustainable-Environmental Road Transportation Guidance” published by the World Bank. The guidance document is expected to be published in early 2013.

TerraLogic gave a presentation to the National Rest Area September 19, 2012 on Sustainable Rest Area design and Operations

TerraLogic will be giving presentations on sustainability rating systems for infrastructure projects to the Inter American Development Bank and the World Bank in Washington DC in late July 2012.

TerraLogic has been asked to attend and present at the 2012 National Safety Rest Area/AASHTO Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah (September 17-20, 2012) on Management Considerations for Sustainable Rest Areas.

TerraLogic was the selected consultant to develop a Sustainable Design and Roadway Construction Guidance Document by the Colorado Department of Transportation Environmental Programs Branch.

TerraLogic gave a presentation in early July at the Colorado Municipal League Annual Conference (Breckenridge, Colorado) on Using the ISI Envision Rating System for Sustainable Infrastructure.

TerraLogic is pleased to announce that Arthur Hirsch has obtained Envision accreditation by the Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure. Envision is a new sustainability rating system developed in concert by ASCE, APWA, ACEC and the Zofnass Program for Sustainability (Harvard University) to assess and promote infrastructure sustainability.

TerraLogic has been asked to provide two technical presentations this summer; the Western Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (WASHTO) Annual Meeting in Colorado Springs, CO (July 7-12, 2012) on Transportation Sustainable Rating Systems and the 2012 National Safety Rest Area/AASHTO Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah (September 17-20, 2012) on Management Considerations for Sustainable Rest Areas.

TerraLogic has received a contact from the World Bank to develop sustainable best management practices for transportation systems in developing countries.

TerraLogic is pleased to announce their participation as the main speaker in the FHWA Webinar on Sustainable Rest Area Management Considerations. In addition, previous sustainable rest area research and development project conceptualized and implemented by TerraLogic in concert with Colorado State University-Pueblo was highlighted in FHWA’s Successes in Stewardship Newsletter.

TerraLogic gave presentations to the World Bank and the Millennium Challenge Corporation in Washington, D.C. on sustainability rating systems and their application in infrastructure projects.

TerraLogic will be supporting the Colorado Chapters of ASCE, ACEC and APWA to pilot test the new infrastructure-based sustainability rating system called Envision. This pilot test will evaluate 4 Colorado infrastructure projects that have already been designed and constructed.

TerraLogic Sustainable Solutions has been asked by the Transportation Research Board to give two presentations during the January 22-26, 2012 Annual TRB Conference in Washington, D.C. on Sustainable Rest Area Design and Operations and Sustainable Transportation Rating Systems.
