Water Quality and Stormwater Management Consulting

Water Quality and Stormwater Management ConsultingTerraLogic specializes in the development of storm water management and water quality management programs to protect local water resources. Pollution prevention is the most cost effective approach in managing storm water as opposed to spending financial resources on downstream, structural best management practices that are expensive to build and maintain. TerraLogic will take the pollution prevention concepts from the EPA Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Program and incorporate them into a watershed-based approach. This approach is cost effective to municipalities within watershed systems and protects their most valuable resources. TerraLogic provides consulting support to complex Total Maximum Daily Loading studies associated with highway system operations. We emphasize the use of innovative best management practices such as Low Impact Development (LID) designs to reduce stormwater flows and pollutant loading into receiving streams. The following are examples of the stormwater services that TerraLogic can provide to our clients:

  • DOT-MS4 Stormwater Permitting and Program Development
  • Total Maximum Daily Loading Assessments
  • Surface Water Quality Management
  • Stormwater Management Plan Development and Erosion Control Inspections
  • Winter operations impacts (chemical deicing/traction sand)
  • Construction and Post Construction Best Management Practices
  • Compliance Auditing
  • Public Involvement and Education

Among his strengths is the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders throughout the project’s condensed design and construction schedule.

As a client, I appreciate his ability to anticipate issues and to take initiative towards finding a resolution in the best interest of the project.

His input has helped the 120th Connection project maintain costs and schedule while at the same time, furthering the agency’s commitment to environmental quality.
